Creative Writing 2/3 2017-18
Creative Writing II/III, by definition, builds upon the foundation laid in Creative Writing I. Whereas Creative Writing I, Mrs. Wilkinson guided you towards pieces with prompts and circumstance (pun intended), Creative Writing II/III is designed for you to begin to think like a writer. My primary goal for this class is to become a true community of writers: one where everyone cares enough to guide their self and each other towards more accomplished writing. In order to accomplish this, we will be looking at our writing process and studying writings about writing, primarily focusing on a book by Anne Lamott: Bird by Bird.
